Post by ltcadmin » 22 Jul 2023, 01:43

Feature Request:
If Netgate Hardware, display Netgate appliance model, either on or on both of the following:
Devices overview screen in a column
Under a Device on Status Page
Under a Device on Info page

Hi Greg, do you think this will be something that can be added/incorporated ?

This can probably be done, but you can also use naming of device to add this into the name of your devices…
Just an idea.

Is this something that could be incorporated? We're nearly 2 years later and still not implemented unless I've missed it.

This would be a great help. Bonus points if it could tell if it's a MAX unit, or base.

Hello,

This feature is included in DFM 25.1.0, released on 2025-06-24.

Appliance model is presented on Devices List & Device Info. It works for all devices, not only Netgate. Non-Netgate devices don't have obvious way of getting the model, so if you happen to own such devices and spot any issues, please let us know.
