Yes, It absolutely works.
You need to follow these steps:

1. Register an account at https://www.maxmind.com/en/geolite2/signup
2. Once you have created an account you’ll need to create a license key. Click in the “My License Key” link and generate a key. When asked if you use “geoipupdate”, choose “no”. Save the key ID.
3. Create the link using this formula: https://download.maxmind.com/app/geoip_ ... suffix=zip -- You can check that you have done it correctly by just pasting the link into a browser, it should download the zip file.
4. In DynFi Firewall goto Firewall:Aliases and select the GeoIP settings tab. Enter the URL you have created into the URL box and click Apply.
5. Firewall will download the complete GeoIP list and it should be usable.

You should then be able to use the GeoIP database when creating an alias.
