DynFi Trainings

Approach to training

DynFi has been involved in training users in pfSense® and OPNsense® for twelve years.
DynFi has trained several hundred users in the use of open source firewalls.

Our company has been involved in a major effort to publish user guides for several years. We have translated most of the DynFi Firewall interface into English.

Why choose us for your training?

DynFi has a unique knowledge of open source firewalls.

After being the first French distributor of pfSense® from 2008 to 2014, we developed the first centralized manager for Open Source Firewalls (DynFi Manager) and finally our own firewall system (DynFi Firewall).

We therefore have all the knowledge of the firewall both at the functional level and at the level of its configuration.

Our training is carried out by high level personnel (level 3 training) who have excellent expertise in DynFi Firewall software, but also pfSense® and OPNSense®. All of them are graduates of higher education with a minimum of 5 years of higher education and specialised in telecoms and networks.

In addition to this high level academic training, our trainers are Cisco (CCNA) and HP Network certified, which allows us to reposition OpenSource technologies in a broader corporate network context.

Our training courses are given to small groups (1 to 4 people per training session) and therefore allow a better learning of the technologies. Our method places a large emphasis on supervised implementation in the form of practical work. We provide a complete laboratory with an HP 5130 switch and several pfSense® / OPNSense® firewalls for the training.

We are therefore the only ones in France to offer this level of training on these technologies.

Our training courses take place in Paris in the 1st arrondissement and last one or two days.

For group training, we can move our trainers and organise on-site training.
